Hi everyone. Today I'm glad to present you the tenth (already!) of the 'Live Material Series'. Wildfire Part 10 (Dreamy Ballad Mix) is very special to me as it's maybe my most peaceful piece of work ever. Not because of its rhythm or its tempo, but because of its both dreamy and naive melodies, and because there isn't any single element going against this innocent vibe. Hence the title of the mix, which had to reflect this feeling of sincere, complete peacefulness.
Actually I wasn't sure I really wanted to release this track until Yesterday. I mean, I would have, because it is a part of the series, but for some reason I wasn't excited by the idea of releasing it. I think it was because it sounded both too dated (I mean it's been a while since I played it live) and too off-topic to me, especially compared to the things I'm working on currently. This was until Yesterday. I don't know what happened exactly, but it was like I was suddenly getting the whole point of this track, and that its peculiar tone and colour would help the whole series to shine even more.
